Tea Recipes:

Chilawee Buff
Ingredients -
3 gallons cold water
6 family-size iced tea brewing bags
2 cups granulated sugar
5 cinnamon sticks
20 whole clove pieces
Peel only (no pith) of 1 large orange
Bring water, sugar, cinnamon sticks and cloves to a boil in a heavy large stockpot over high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Boil 6 minutes. Remove from heat. Add tea bags and the orange and lemon zest. Cover and let steep 10 minutes. Discard tea bags. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour (up to 24 hours). Using a slotted spoon, discard whole spices and zest.
Serve hot with additional cinnamon stick for garnish. Tea will keep refrigerated up to 3 days.

Iced Mint Tea Description:
Delicious refreshing drink will slake your thirst and plunge you in the winter coolness.
Method:
Pour 2-1/2 cups boiling water over ingredients. Cover and steep 4 minutes. Strain and chill. Add sugar or honey to taste. Serve over ice garnish with fresh mint.
Ingredients :
3 teaspoons tea
1/2 teaspoons dried mint leaves


Russian Tea Description:
There are many recipes of Russian tea, as for the Russians tea is a must after every meal or in every break. They have invented the most delicious combination.
Method:
Place the loose tea in a pre-warmed teapot. Pour in the boiling water and let tea steep for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, place a well-rounded tablespoon of raspberry jam in each clear glass cup or mug. Strain the tea into each glass, and top with a lemon slice.

Ingredients :
2 tablespoons black tea
4 cups boiling water
1/2 cup berry jam
4 thin slices of lemon

Fruit Tea Description:
This fruit-flavored tea is a natural blend of fine tea delicately flavored with the taste of pineapple, lemon, cherries and orange, satisfying any time of day! Add sugar to bring out the fruity taste even more.
Method:
Boil the sugar and 1/4 pint water together for 5 minutes. Add the cooled tea, the rest of the water, the fruit syrup and fruit squashes. Chill and when ready to serve add the other ingredients and the ice.
Ingredients :
4 oz. sugar
2 pints water
1/4 pint strong fresh tea, strained
1/4 pint fruit syrup
1/4 pint orange squash
1/4 pint lemon squash
1/4 pint pineapple squash
1 small bottle lemonade
12 fresh or canned cherries
2 bananas
sliced ice
